News: SP.css on EMS

After some hard games in the past 2 days, SouthPark Gaming CS:Source team managed to win the first place in the EMS Greek National Qualifiers and will take the slot for the ESL Major Series Season 1.

Coming all the way from the Loser’s Bracket after a defeat from Visualise Hacking, they managed to beat them twice in de_cbble in a thrilling game (coming back from a 3-12 lost first half to a 13-1 second half) and de_inferno and win the tournament. It is sad to say that the other two big names of the tournament didn’t make it for some very sad reasons.

GR-OF didn’t manage to have a complete lineup for the tournament so they dropped, and team DH lost their second game on the losers bracket due to an obscure protest made by team LoG.

“It is the first tournament that we played so bad… Some part of this bad gameplay was some personal and family problems of my teammates. Τhe second day found us on the Loser’s Bracket after the loss against VH but fortunatelly we managed to make a comeback from this bad situation and beat them twice in the final. Now we continue with the Clanbase Eurocup XVI Qualifiers and the ESL Major Series.”

SouthPark-Gaming CS:Source team will be joining the other 2 Divisions that are allready in the ESL Major Series: SouthPark.cod2 and SouthPark.csfem.
