CS Female EMS Season 2

Since all the regional qualifiers have ended, the ESL announced today the Groups of the CS Female EMS Season 2. This year Greece has again two representatives. Dh.fem and SP Gaming CS female team will try to prove themselves against Europe’s top teams. Le’s not forget that in the first EMS season, our team made some good appearances despite the latency problems, and reached the play-offs.

But before we see the groups, let us take a look at the tournament system and the timetable:

Before  the playoffs, the teams will play two group stages. The first group stage will have 4 groups of 6 Teams and the 1st placed team of each group will qualify for the second group stage, while the 2nd and 3rd placed teams have to play a relegation match to qualify.

The second group stage will feature 2 groups of 4 teams with the same procedures as in the first group stage. The 1st placed teams qualify directly for the playoffs and the 2nd / 3rd placed teams have to play a relegation match to determine the other playoff teams.

The playoffs will be a double elimination bracket with 4 teams.
All matches will be played in best-of-one.

Timetable:

• 10th March till 13th April - First Groupstage
• 14th April till 20th April - Relegation for second Groupstage
• 21th April till 18th May - Second Groupstage
• 19th May till 25th May - Relegation for Playoffs
• June - Playoffs
